I pick the shows to develop and air on my network. I watch the programming budget like a hawk and live and die by the ratings. If I can figure out what you want to watch and when you will watch it, I can collect increasing paychecks and accolades throughout my career. Otherwise, I might get cancelled- just like your favorite show.
