CAREER KICKSTART: ENTERTAINMENT EDITION
Designed to help the recent grad take the right first step or get on a better track for entertainment industry career success. Grads leave with a roadmap and every tool they’ll need to ace an interview and land the job! Consider it an insurance policy for the tuition dollars spent on their college education.
This program includes:
- A life purpose review of your interests, skills, and strengths, as well as personal preferences and practical considerations, and an overview of the different areas of the entertainment industry and which one(s) might be best suited to you, all designed to hone in on a target job.
- A strategy session, which includes a discussion of resources, interviewing, follow-up, and other job hunt considerations, from which you will get an action plan of your first five steps on the road to gainful and satisfying employment.
- A professionally-written resume and cover letter to use on the search for your target job.
- A Career Kickstart: Entertainment Workbook for tracking leads, resume and cover letter submissions, interviews, and follow-up, which includes articles and tip sheets containing insider secrets for you to use as you embark on your job hunt.
- Four laser coaching mini-sessions designed to help you prepare for interviews, overcome setbacks, or evaluate opportunities or offers.

ENTERTAINMENT CAREER RUTBUSTER
For the mid-career entertainment professional who is bored, burnt out or otherwise fed up with their current job/career (or who is simply uncertain about their path), but isn’t sure what to change to and/or how to make a change. Each meeting, and the homework given to the client between meetings, is designed to hone in on a new job/career and to build a detailed transition plan for the client to use to confidently get from where they are to where they want to be.
This program includes:
- A life purpose review of your current situation and your educational and professional background, hobbies, volunteer work, etc. and what you enjoyed doing and excelled at most in the past.
- A logistical review of practical and personal considerations (hours, flexibility, commute length, appreciation of boss, creative atmosphere, etc.), including exercises to clarify optimum parameters for your new job/career.
- A strategy session, which includes a discussion of your target position, personal resources, steps to take, and how to rewrite your existing resume to best market you for your target position.
- A Career Rutbuster Workbook for tracking leads, resumes and cover letter submissions, interviews, and follow-up, which includes articles and tip sheets containing insider secrets for you to use as you embark on your job hunt.
